The commission included system planning and renewal, disassembly of the old system and replacement of the associated 25-bay 20-kV protection and control technology.<\/p>\n<p>The existing 110-kV open-air switchgear of the Lieboch substation with its many base components dated all the way back to 1979. Therefore, it was necessary to plan a comprehensive renewal programme in order to safeguard network selectivity \u2013 an important network protection function \u2013 and also to ensure a high degree of operational reliability now and in future. Furthermore, the renewal also increased transmissibility and resistance to short-circuiting. As part of the remodelling and rearrangement work, EQOS Energie executed the primary technology, which included planning, as well as the secondary technology.<\/p>\n<p>With this project, EQOS Energie has made a significant contribution to ensuring an effective regional energy supply in the Styrian industrial region. To keep the substation functional during the entire remodelling project, all working steps took place during real-life operations<br \/>within the confines of a very tight schedule.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element
