The energy transition and the switch to renewable energies are an important key to achieving climate protection goals. This can only succeed with the transport revolution and the decarbonisation of mobility. On the railways, the use of electricity has long been standard. 90 per cent of transport services are already provided electrically. Suburban and underground trains, long-distance trains and many more already run on electricity.

Climate protection takes place on railways
When it comes to the climate-friendly expansion of energy technology in railway infrastructure, we provide our expert knowledge in regional and long-distance traffic: during foundation construction, in civil engineering and during the installation of catenary systems. You will benefit from our international project experience on all service levels.
When retrofitting your catenary system, all dismantling, remodelling, reconstruction and new construction comes from a single source. Do you need a foundation procedure? If so, we will provide special piling and drilling equipment. In regional traffic engineering, we can simultaneously plan your overhead contact line systems. We also put communications technology on the railway by installing your cable system and equipping it with copper or fibre optic cables Furthermore, we lay cables, install your control and safety systems and we will optimise the energy structure. We also ensure that your switches will not freeze anymore and that your track fields are illuminated.
